1. Hungarian church marks 75th year

Detroit -- Bishop Attila Mikloshazy of
Toronto is expected to celebrate a high mass at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, and
rededicate Holy Cross Hungarian Church at 8423 South in Detroit's old
Delray neighborhood. The only Hungarian church in the Archdiocese of
Detroit, which attracts parishioners from across the state, is marking
its 75th anniversary, said the pastor, the Rev. Barnabas Kiss. |
