Camillo Onofrio with his two Sons, Ernest and Herman (Dave's Father). Picture was taken 1913 in Italy, from where they immigrated to Delray in 1922. They lived on Lawndale near the Woodmere Cemetery. Ernest and Herman (aka Armand), both attended MacMillan Grade School and did not go to High School, but had to start working. Not shown in the photo is Rosa (Guidici) Onofrio, who was later married to Camillo after his first Wife (Giovanna) died in Italy in 1910, when the Sons were very young. |

Herman and Ida Onofrio - Married in All Saints Parish on Aug 29,1936. They lived on Green Ave until 1941.
(Father and Mother of David A. Onofrio). Herman was also know as Armand. He worked at Joey Stables as a Chef in 1975
