Information on St John's Hungarian Church Byzantine Rite

The Church was on the Corner of South Street and Thaddeus never see any information on the Church , when I was Child in the 60's was Altar boy at the church and The Priest was Father Paytas ! And they built Sister Church in Taylor Mich, on Mortenview Road where all the younger Generation went especially when all the Hungarians mover to Lincoln Park, Allen Park etc..I would love to see any Photos of the old Church St John's in Delray, or sites, and anyone remember the Chuch.

Yes I know the church very well as I attended mass there sometimes. I was an altar boy at Holy Cross and i passed the church every day. My brother had his wedding reception in the basement of the church in1942. Bob Takacs

Bob , there is no pictures or really anything about the church. served as Altar boy in the late 60,s ! Its a beautiful church inside  rectory was next to the  church, father Nementh was also a priest there too,,
