The demise of Delray & the Holy Cross church

I can't help but get the  feeling the Holy Cross church is just barely hanging on for dear life. If it is forced to close it's doors, Delray will cease to exist. It will remain only as a memory of a once proud ethnic community. The garden of my grandparents will become a field of stones. When they build that new bridge to Canada, nothing will remain of Delray. It will cease to exist. We here at this forum are the last guardians of the Delray memory. I know now for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for Delray.
