Jo reggelt!

Maybe you have met my mother, Elizabeth Szabo. She started Magyar
Marketing in 1988. She died in November 2008 and we are continuing her
business.

We have found that there are customers we have who are unaware of the
rich Hungarian history in the US and are completely unaware of
Hungarian events that happen in their state or relatively near to
where they live. We are gathering information on regional events in
the US. Can you connect me to someone who has access to that
information for your general area in Michigan? We have recently begun
a Facebook group to more easily access and manage that sort of
information for those who utilize Facebook. Unfortunately, we know
there are many of our customers who do not use the internet, so we
will also compile event information by regions to include in our
packages.

Any information you can give me would be appreciated!

Koszonom!

Hello and just curious if the name Vos was actually Vas? that was my Grandmothers maiden name.
I'm about the last of the original Delray magyars as I'll be 81 in March and most of my cohorts have passed on. I've given a lot of information to Richard Bujaki  and it's there for your use also. My parents lived in Miami for about 15 years and their were a lot of hungarians there too. There were two clubs one was called the Demokrata Club and the other The Kossuth club. Eva Gabor came to the demokrata club where my stepdad danced the csardas with her. I acted in a play there upon returning from a tour of military duty in Japan. I called my Mom at that club on Mothers Day  in 1952 from Japan and I was given a rousing welcome upon return home. The hungarian radios were run by a Mr Ernest Prager and a guy called captain Szabo. My step dad and I ran one on Wednesday evening .Just another bit of info for anyone who's interested.
