Delray Pharmacy

I knew when my father retired from his pharmacy, Delray Pharmacy, the location became a mini police station.  Yes, my father's pharmacy was at 8022 W. Jefferson, with the doctor's office adjoining.  I found nothing more wonderful than visiting my father's store as a child, going to Fox Hardware, Kresge's and many of the wonderful restaurants. These visits continued until I graduated from college at which time my father retired.  I just went to Delray to show my daughter where her grandfather's store was and left very saddened by the burned out building.  At least I do have the wonderful memories!

It was nice to read that someone other then myself did have such fond memories of the old Delray!
